Indiana State University pays first-year students with a 3.5 grade average $2,500 a year, and states plainly that the award is open to Indiana, international and out-of-state applicants. Most of the university's other first-year scholarships explicitly exclude international students, so this is one of only two they can receive.
One restriction matters. Students whose costs are paid by a sponsor such as a government, company or foundation, or who use an agent for admission, are not eligible.
Consideration is automatic on admission and the award renews for up to three further years.
