The Alonzo Rollins Scholarship is worth up to $30,000 a year and is given for academic performance together with service and involvement, so it rewards what you have done in your school and community as well as your grades.
Rollins considers first-time college applicants with an SAT above 1210 or an ACT above 25 and a GPA above 3.0, and applicants with a GPA above 3.7 who submit no test scores.
International students are eligible. Rollins publishes a range of $15,000 a year up to full tuition for international academic scholarships, and it also offers need-based aid to international applicants through the International Student Financial Aid Application. Admission is need-aware for international students.
Applying means applying for admission, with a 1 February deadline for international students. The award renews for up to eight autumn and spring semesters with a 3.0 GPA and 24 credit hours each year.
