About the Scholarship

Excluded courses include combined degrees with a postgraduate component, the Arts and Economics dual degrees with Sciences Po, and degrees containing the Bachelor of Advanced Studies.

Renewal requires a Semester Average Mark (SAM) of at least 65, no unpaid fees, and completion within the published duration. Exchange students need a Satisfied Requirements grade for their next payment; exchange expenses are excluded. The award cannot be deferred, suspended or transferred. Another commencing-student scholarship ends eligibility, except the Sydney International Student Award.

Tuition
Fees

Pays all tuition and the Student Services Amenities Fee (SSAF) for the published full-time degree duration, including embedded honours, up to four years. All other study and living expenses are excluded.

Eligibility

Full-time entrants to an eligible single undergraduate degree lasting at most four years must have finished secondary school or an eligible foundation program and have no prior tertiary study, except Year 12 extension studies. Second Sydney degrees are excluded.

Eligible Countries

International students only; Australian citizens, permanent residents and dual Australian nationals are excluded. Selection considers nationality and degree diversity.

Obtain an unconditional undergraduate admission offer and Student ID, then submit the separate online scholarship form linked from the award page. Successful applicants are usually contacted within five weeks; accept admission and scholarship offers by their stated deadlines.
