The University of Kansas pays $16,000 a year, up to $64,000 across a degree, to international first-year students with a grade average of 3.95 or above.
This is the top of five first-year bands.
One wrinkle to ignore. An eligibility block on the university's admissions page says these go to domestic students. That block sits below both the in-state and the out-of-state tables and governs both, and the university's international office runs the identical sentence with the word removed. The admissions page itself now sends international first-year applicants to that office's page for these awards.
