The University of North Texas pays transfer students $1,500 to $4,000 a year across three named tiers, set by the grade average they bring with them.
The money is the smaller half of the offer. The university states that international recipients qualify for the in-state tuition rate for as long as they hold the award, which at a public American university is normally worth far more than the scholarship. Applicants need at least 30 transferable credit hours, and the award runs up to four semesters.
