About the Scholarship

Rochester's LGBTQ+ Pride Scholarship pays $10,000 to $35,000 a year to academically strong students who are engaged with LGBTQ+ issues and ready to add to the university's community across sexual and gender identities.

Rochester states that applicants are considered for merit scholarships regardless of citizenship, so international applicants are in scope. This one asks for a step beyond admission: submit your undergraduate application, then complete the Pride Scholarship Application that appears in your MyROC account.

Rochester gives each student a single merit scholarship, so the Pride Scholarship stands in place of the Meliora. It renews each year while you keep satisfactory academic performance and full-time status.
